Role: Editor


Responsible to: Senior Partner


Objective of the role 

To bring new books to market from initial scoping through editorial and design to publishing date.


Duties & Responsibilities

Applying editorial skills, judgement and best practice to ensure that books are accurate, market-appropriate and published to schedule and budget

  • Working closely with colleagues to realise the vision and passion in bringing new projects and mad ideas into existence
  • Experience in meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of creativity
  • Communicating exceptionally well with colleagues to deliver new titles
  • Any other reasonable duties as required in order to fulfil the role of Tor Mark Editor


Experience and Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience of editing and writing text for print
  • Relevant, professional experience is essential and qualifications appropriate for the role is preferred
